How to protect your new finish.

- Do hand wash for the first 90 days or (if you have to) use a brushless car wash.
- Do use a mild car wash detergent.
- Do remove any stains or bird droppings as soon as possible to prevent any acid etching of the finish.
- Do avoid exposure to gasoline or antifreeze since long term exposure can damage even this durable paint.
- Do not wipe the finish with a dry cloth because together with dirt, dust and sand, it acts like sandpaper and scratches the   finish.
- Do not scrape ice or snow from the paint as this can also scratch the finish.
- Do not wash the new finish for the first 90 days. The full curing process takes places over this time.
- Do not wash the car in direct sunlight. Water droplets act as a magnifying glass for the harmful UV rays of the sun.
